Teens have the opportunity to design projects with librarians and community stakeholders that have ambitious yet achievable goals and focus on the issues they care about most within Los Angeles.
The following steps guide the creation of all civic action projects:
Identify a community highlight, issue, or concern.
Research the topic, and prepare a funding proposal.
Develop an action plan, and implement your group’s civic action project
Present your group’s work at a TLC Showcase, reflect, and evaluate your experience
