Working Towards Zero-Waste

Palisades Branch
This project will educate the community on waste and how to reduce, reuse, recycle, and compost within their own homes. Participants will also assist with hosting events for kids at the library, where they can repurpose recycled materials into art and projects.

When you join your local library’s Teen Council, you’ll have the opportunity to develop and participate in a civic action project and implement positive change in your community. Projects form in September, but you may join anytime.
